SNMPTN (Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri) seringkali disebut oleh para pelajar setelah mereka lulus SMA. Terkadang mereka lebih memilih UM daripada SNMPTN. Mereka berpikir bahwa UM lebih mudah lulus jika dibandingkan SNMPTN, padahal SNMPTN lebih banyak memberikan peluang kepada calon mahasiswa. Jika dilihat dari biaya, SNMPTN relatif lebih murah dibandingkan UM universitas itu sendiri karena jika kita lulus melalui SNMPTN, kita tidak perlu membayar uang gedung yang mencapai jutaan rupiah. Menurut pengalaman saya, saya telah melalui UM tetapi saya gagal karena saingan yang begitu banyak karena UM lebih tertumpu kepada satu universitas. Tetapi apabila pendaftaran SNMPTN dibuka, saya terus optimis agar tidak gagal untuk kedua kalinya maka saya mengikuti ujian SNMPTN. Alhamdulillah saya lulus melalui jalur ini dan saya dapat menjadi mahasiswa di universitas pilihan saya. Sesungguhnya saya hanya mempunyai tiga cara agar bisa lulus, yaitu:
1.Berusaha
Satu bulan sebelum ujian SNMPTN, saya telah membeli sebuah buku yang mendiskusikan contoh ujian SNMPTN di tahun-tahun sebelumya. Setiap malam saya berlatih untuk mengerjakannya. Contohnya, malam ini saya mengerjakan pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, malam berikutnya saya mengerjakan bahasa Inggeris. Saya tidak tertumpu untuk mengerjakan tahun demi tahun tetapi saya lebih mengutamakan untuk menguasai satu pelajaran kemudian pelajaran lainnya.
2.Bertawakal
Saat melangkahkan kaki menuju ruang ujian, saya hanya bertawakal kepada Allah karena semuanya saya serahkan kepada-Nya. Sebelum mulai mengerjakan ujian, saya membaca doa dan memohon pertolongan dari Allah karena segalanya bisa terjadi atas kehendak-Nya. Saya berusaha untuk mengerjakan ujian sebaik mungkin. Agar menghemat waktu, saya hanya menjawab soalan yang saya yakin benar dan mengosongkan jawaban yang membuat saya ragu.
3.Berdoa
Saat waktu penantian kira-kira satu bulan, yaitu masa menunggu untuk mendapat pengumuman kelulusan, sangat dianjurkan untuk berdoa pada masa tersebut. Yang wajib kita lakukan adalah beribadah kepada Allah dan senantiasa berdoa untuk mendapat kelulusan. Oleh sebab itu, berdoalah dengan ikhlas dan sepenuh hati karena hanya Allah yang dapat membantu kita.
Semoga tips-tips tersebut dapat membantu anda, saya hanya membagikan pengalaman saya. Semuanya terpulang kepada diri masing-masing dan dengan cara yang berbeda-beda. Kita harus menolong diri sendiri dan jangan terlalu mengharapkan bantuan orang lain.
